If I interpreted your question correctly, you're asking how to get pets on JUST the Sims Deluxe Edition without Unleashed right? Well, the answer to your question is, it's not possible. The only way to get pets is to A. Get Sims Unleashed or B. Download some statues that look like animals, but you can feed and take care, of from a site like www.simslice.com

If you are talking about TheSims2 the expansion pack is Pets. The Sims1 game with animals is called Unleashed.

u cant get animals on tht game. u have 2 have the sims unleashed. :(
