You are going to get as many nos as you get yeses so I can't see how asking this question on Yahoo is going to help. Sometimes the majority isn't always right especially when it comes to questions about religion and so forth. You need to find your own answer. Have you ever looked at your hand and the way each finger bends? Or the way other parts of your body work. Or look beyond into the world. Can you honestly believe everything just came about on its own? For me that takes more faith than to believe a god brought all this into existence. Then the next step is to read the first four books of the New Testament,Mathew, Mark, Luke and John as a start. I promise, you will come to your own conclusion if after reading those books at least once maybe several times and then really think about what they say with an open mind.

I'm atheist- Only because I really haven't heard of any good enough reasons to be a part of any religion. I just can't believe the stories they preach. I agree with the teachings of church as far as being a good person, and I think that religion is good for some people and it brings them closer and makes them a better person with certain hopes for things.....but I enjoy not having a religion.....

I am deploying soon to a dangerous place, so maybe I'll take up praying when I'm being shot at (they say "no one in a fox hole is atheist")

I sort of beleive but have many doughts. Nothing has been proven so the only reason people beleive is because the community puts pressure on you to. EX: If i am sitting down at lunch and i say i do not beleive in god. The people at my lunch table would say stuff like you don't omg! You have to beleive in god or you are going to go to hell! Im not going to be friends with you anymore because your atheist.

Yes there is a God, only ONE God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the Lover of your soul, the One that knows your every thought and sees your every move and still loves you and sent His Son to die for you.

Heaven exists. It is where God and Jesus reside, with their angels, where our souls can go when we die, if we've accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior and live our life according to His will, surrendering our will and desires to His.

Not everyone goes to Heaven. There is only one way to get to Heaven and that is Jesus Christ.

No one should really worry about heaven or hell because I think that you should care more about how you live day to day then what going to happen to you after you die.
