I ran infront of a Police car once, on my way home from school, and ended up splattered across the bonnet.
My Dad was driving it!
Fortunately, only my dignity was damaged! He shouted me down in front of loads of my school mates!
I also got thrown in the back of a police van, for being drunk and disorderly, when I was 16. I begged the coppers not to tell my Dad. When I told them who he was, they threw me out again!...

I did find it funny once when our washing machine broke. The last time I had taken any notice of it was when we purchased it 3 years before. In fits of laughter I informed my wife that, if the washing machine came alive and committed a crime I would not be able to identify it in an Identity parade!

yes. i got asked to do it ages ago. you get £10 for your trouble too. the funny bit was the guy who was the criminal never got picked & another guy who came along (innocently) got picked twice lol. freaked him right out
