Well, if it were the SS soldiers you admired, then you might have Nazi sympathies.
But most of the soldiers in the German Army were NOT Nazis, so if you admire the Wehrmacht, I'd say you had good reason to. They were, as a rule, very courageous fighters:
"Max Hastings, respected British author, historian and ex-newspaper editor, said in a radio interview on WGN Chicago "...there's no doubt that man for man, the German army was the greatest fighting force of the second world war". This view was also explained in his book "Overlord: D-Day and the battle for Normandy". In the book World War II : An Illustrated Miscellany, Anthony Evans writes: 'The German soldier was very professional and well trained, aggressive in attack and stubborn in defence. He was always adaptable, particularly in the later years when shortages of equipment were being felt'. These views of the Wehrmacht are an attempt to evaluate their fighting abilities and not trying to excuse or justify the aims or actions of the Nazi regime."

I do not understand the American use of the word 'cool' - does it not refer to temperature? German soldiers were very effective but it would be a mistake to believe that they had entirely clean hands with regard to atrocities. As to Nazism - you really have a great deal to read before showing yourself up like this.

No of course not, they had the best weaponry and were the best trained soldiers, each soldier was trained 2 levels above his rank and are probably seen as a bit of a cult status. Most German soldiers were like any other soldier regarding they had families and wanted to get home to see them

Does not make you a Nazi, but it would be interesting to know what you find cool about them. How they looked or what they did...?
