Try Howl's moving Castle (others have suggested Akira, fantastic film but nothing like Spirited Away and if your brother is still young not suitable, definately not a kids programme). Look for any of the Studio Gibhli films they are all very similar family films. There's loads of them start with the other Miyazaki ones but you also might want to try Grav of The Firefly's

i'm a wide fan of Howl's shifting citadel, Princess Mononoke, and lively Away. I also really love My Neighbor Totoro. It became my first Miyazaki movie that I talked about at the same time as i became about 5 years previous. i have also considered Whispers of the middle, Porco Rosso, Naussica, and chateau interior the Sky, that are all exceptionally solid. i have considered more desirable yet i can not undergo in concepts all the names.

Visit http://www.nausicaa.net/miyazaki/films/ for a list of other films directed by Hiyao Miyazaki and others at Studio Ghibli.

I would recommend:

Princess Mononoke -- His later works (i.e., 1990s and later) have better animation. This one also has a great story.

Nausicaa -- This is one of his earliest films and still one of his best. The pacifist theme is similar to Princess Mononoke.

Ghost In the Shell totally rocks! Similar stylistically to Akira. Amazing, gritty animation.

Princess Mononoke is the closest to "Spirited Away". Miyazaki's works all have similar style elements. (Magical creatures, reverence for nature, etc.)

Another animated film I enjoyed was Akira.
It's darker than Spirited Away but still good fun.
