What is the SAFEST way to turn of X-BOX, the simple one?

i turn my xbox off by the little button AFTER the game is removed and it should be safe and simple ...
(to take the disc out press the bigbutton take the disc out and press the big button )

Press the top button to eject the tray, take out the disc and then press the small button. Then your xbox is off its that easy.

you press the button under the eject button, if your saying your xbox froze, then the answer is the same, please elaborate so I can help you more :)
