hungry, angry,
The -Gry Puzzle is a popular puzzle that asks for the third English word, other than "angry" and "hungry," that ends with the letters "gry." Aside from words derived from "angry" and "hungry," there is no stand-alone word ending in "gry" that is in current usage. Both Webster's Third New International Dictionary of the English Language, Unabridged (Merriam-Webster, Inc., 2002, ISBN 0-87779-201-1) and the Oxford English Dictionary, Second Edition (Oxford University Press, 1989, ISBN 0-19-861186-2) contain the compound word "aggry bead." To find a third word ending in -gry that is not part of a phrase, you must turn to archaic, obsolete, or uncommon words, or personal or place names, a comprehensive list of which is given at the end of this article.

This question was asked earlier, and the correct answer given.
The problem is that the riddle has been asked incorrectly.
The correct riddle reads approximately as follows:
Two words that end in "gry" are angry and hungry. There are three words in the English language. What is the third word?
The answer is "language." While the question implies that the third word that is being asked for ends in "gry," as stated it just refers to the phrase "the English language." The first sentence is merely to mislead the hearer or reader, and make it a riddle.
And, by the way, there are not three words in common usage in the English language that end in "gry."

The answer is energy.
The question (riddle) asks for a word ending with the three letters g-r-y, but does not stipulate that they must be in that order.

Angry, Hungry and Energy.
The question asks for a word ending with the three letters g-r-y, but it didn't say that they must be in that order.
And "puggry" is a word,(a.k.a. puggaree).
Darn you shakespere
