Do women seduce men or men seduce women, traditionally.?

Traditionally, or even generally throughout the cultures, is it usually the women who seduce the men or the men who seduce the women? Do the men serenade the women or are the women supposed to sing to the men? I would really appreciate a credible website that deals with this issue.

I think women do more seducing b/c (most) enjoy being admired and having that powerful,playful, role. Men who are captured by a ladys beauty,directly or indirectly, make gestures such as serenading or other grandiose romantic efforts to draw a lady in towards him.
Men react to the stimulant...women.

As tradition dies, mans try to serenade is only a farce. Women are bolder and usually seduce with force due to independence status. Women don't find pleasure in old fashion game. A credible website I don't know of any, just ask the older group and get more answers.

Depends a great deal on economic class and social background. Also depends on whether you are considering direct active seduction or whether you are including indirect seduction. Men tend to be direct and women more indirect, although there are exceptions.
