I heard Crazy Browser uses least ram and is fast. I use Opera mostly now. It has lots of great features. What about the new IE 7 that has tabbed browsing.

I would stick with Opera. Firefox 2.0.x and Internet Explorer 7 both suffer from memory leaks. By default, Opera uses 20MB of memory while both Firefox and IE 7 both exceed 50MB of memory. IE 7 does have tab browsing; however, not nearly as advanced as Opera. Nor does IE 7 offer ad blocking, mouse gesturing, website preferences, widgets, download manager, easy proxy configuration and voice. Opera and K-Meleon are the two least resource hungry.
Which browser is best is a matter of taste.

http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/download.php
K-Meleon has really layers but most ppl would call them tabs.
K-MeleonCCF has true tab but is based on a test version.

Crazy Browser is a shell for the Trident engine of IE.
IE 7 is the same resource hog as IE 6. All IE after 5.01 are.

Firefox uses all RAM that it can get but least CPU time
of all modern browsers.

The page browser speed comparisons is useless - it is not updated properly.

IE7 cramps the tabs and the toolbar in the same place, and the result is there isn't enough room for more than 4-5 tabs at most (you'll have scrolling buttons if you add more). also, by default it has no menu bar, which could be weird.

i would personally reccomend using Firefox, which is faster than IE, but may not have all the features Opera has (but it has lots of extensions that add new features).

Out of the three major browsers (FF 2, Opera 9, and IE 7), Firefox uses by far the most ram (right now mine's using 153MB after only a couple hours), and Opera and IE are about equal. I think Opera uses marginally less.

Opera uses the least RAM, though it's not quite up to par with Firefox in features.

Internet Explorer is a security hazard and shouldn't be used at all.

Firefox is the absolute best. It's what IE7 wants to be.
