Well, he should. He levelled Iraq's infrastructure which resulted in unbelievable unemployment. Iraq will never recover if all the jobs are gone. But this is the least stupid thing of all the stupid things that Bush has managed to do regarding Iraq.

Bush sure screwed the average American citizen on this: where are jobs at home?

I sure am. He should be spending a hell of a lot more than that to get the country (which was as rich as Portugal, with universities and education for all before Sadam - and now is crippled and as bad as many of the worst African states) back to the state it was before the CIA started interfering with it by putting Sadam in charge.

I'm furious about it. We are suffering in the State of Michigan. Our economy is in the pits, our schools are falling apart, we're dealing with border issues, the great lakes need protecting... it goes on and on. We're pouring billions into a country that doesn't want us there!

Are you kidding? Every single politician is selling us down the river and it isn't all in Iraq. Take a look from coast to coast. We have been backstabbed in the cruelest way, by those we trusted. It's both sides of the aisle sweetheart. All this liberal versus conservative crap is just encouraged by our leaders to keep some of us busy while they pick our pockets.

No, I'm not upset one bit. That will help reestablish the Iraqi economy which we've obliterated over the last 30+ years (Iran-Iraq, gulf war I, ONW/OSW, GWOT), and will give the Iraqi people something to do besides kill each other.

I don't like to see people coming home w/ flags draped over them. So spend the money to help establish a viable country, & get us the hell home.

Colin Powell warned him, " If you break it, You bought it" Now we're paying the price, maybe Bush will raise taxes, like his father did.
