make sure u don't let Campbell go. and get teddy sheringham supated ain't the quickest with his feet but he can split a defence with just one lay of the ball. don't sign him till we've knocked you out the cup though lol. Freddie ljungberg's a free agent also.

So many answers, yet to have a serious one.
Problem position is clearly LB, Wayne Bridge, Gareth Bale, both Scummers but both good upgrades. One I have my eye on is John Arne Riise, who is not in Rafa Benitez's good books, Riise and Taylor down the left flank would be exciting.
Freddie Ljungberg has been told that he can leave Arsenal but not sure we can afford the 70k per week wages, another name who I know is on the list is another Scummer, Beattie. He was left out of the Everton XVI on Sunday and trained with the Scum youth team this week, he has already spoken with Arry.
Midfield wise we are solid, I'd love another CB as cover, rumour of Andy Todd from Blackburn. I'd love Slyvan Distin from Man City but not sure he'll come to be a backup.

If we are to believe the news Gaydamark is looking for a buyer for the club so maybe someone with a lot of money should be sought after in the transfer window.

For the left back:Leighton Baines....great talent,and not even from Soton
For the midfield:Zoltán Gera
and a goalkeeper who is at most 25 years old.....like Carson,or Lee Jones,anyone.

i'm not a portmouther but i think a good midfielder will add power to the already high-flying squad
the defence is no doubt been really steady but i think a good midfield like scott parker? loan joe cole/ aaron lennon?
