20x - 10 + 56 -12x >/ = 3

First: combine "like" terms >

20x - 12x - 10 + 56 >/ = 3
8x + 46 >/= 3

Sec: subtract 46 from both sides >

8x + 46 - 46 >/= 3 - 46
8x >/= - 43

Third: solve for "x" by isolating it on one side > divide everything by 8 >

8x/8 >/= - 43/8
x >/= -43/8
