This morning I woke up to a long, brown slimy bug with antennas in my bathtub. Any ideas on what this was? Any ideas on how it showed up?

I vote Silverfish. They're kinda like cockroches in that they eat the sames things and live in damp areas. The go into tubs and sinks for water and then can't climb out.

a long brown slimy bug? bugs aren't usually slimy, maybe its a centipede since you said it had antennae. if your bathtub has a window over it maybe the bug crawled in throw the window or maybe even from the drain.

insects are attracted to wetness and warmth. maybe it got into the tub from under your sink or something and crawled into the tub when it sensed warmth/dampness (after you took a shower/bath that night)

Sounds like a slug, they love a wet environment, probably just showed up to say hi, they are completely harmless but ugly as sin!

Maybe a silverfish?
Sometimes they fall into the sink or tub and can't climb out.

Perhaps it was a slug that climbed up through the drain.

it's a slug. came up most likely from your drain. pretty harmless to you, not so good for any plants you may have.
