Scottish women wear skirts for the same reason other women do.
Scotsmen wear kilts as a matter of ethnic or national pride.

At some point in history, almost all nationalities of men have worn skirts or robes.

These are not Skirts but kilts and these gentlemen are Scotsmen .
Even as " just an American " I understand there is a BIG difference between skirts and kilts. as an aside I like the bag - pipes when played.

scotch? do you mean butter, or tape? a kilt is simply a way for a scots person to show his clan assoiciation .
