you will need to use a pop up blocker and possibely some special software to help. but nothing is 100% fool proof sorry. you could install macafee site advisor as it warns about a site before ou click on it and its free and brilliant.

Pop up blockers work wonders.

Using search engines to find official sites (with safe search on) is the best way to find a website rather than just assuming that it's what you think it is and typing it into the address bar.
