how can i access my routers control pannel i know it has something to do with using the internet and typing an address in but am unsure what do you have any ideas. please help.

i believe u can type in.....192.168.1.1 in the address bar..then press go
u can also go to
port forward.com
select your router..and it will gie u step by step instructions..on how to open ports...static ip..
one more thing...if u try the way below me....u have to go to
start
run
type in....cmd...press enter
then u will see a black window pop up
type in
ipconfig
press enter
then like he said..default gateway is what u type in browser
wasnt trying to correct him...just give a little better directions

Read your router's docs. It will tell you. Different brands use different IP schemes.

If you don't have the docs handy, open a command prompt and type IPCONFIG and press Enter. The default gateway is your router. Open a web browser and http to that address.
