I'm a grade 8 student and I have to go to school tomorrow with my speech topic in mind, and with information. I was thinkign of doing it on FASHION/FASHION WEEK. but i dont own chanel adn stuff liek that. does that matter? I can't do it on gymnastics, dreams, or California because I haev in the past. So can you help me think of a topic, or tell me if FASHION/FASHION WEEK is a good topic.

If you want to stand out in your teachers eyes, pick a speech topic that no one else would think about picking. Anyone can give a speech on fashion / fashion week. I know youre in 8th grade but, you can still choose a topic that no one knows about so you open their eyes to new things, rather than what can be easily seen on MTV. If you have thought of topic on fashion / fashion week it is OK. Be determined that you can speak well on that. You can speak how this trend has started, how many people and capital is involved now a days, you can also elaborate how it is beneficial for the society. You can many details for the speech going through numerous sites available for this topic. Have confidence in your self.

if dats wat u really want and ur comfortable bout it then why not...
im in yr.12 now and my teacher in english kept telling us b4 that most impressive speeches are when u talk about local issues!or not-so-common issues in the local areas...

but it's ol up 2 u though!u ask urself wat u r comfortable at..
