this whole "does it matter thing", i have one thing to say to that and it's an honest answer....

the people that matter don't mind and the people that mind, just don't matter.

if material things are important to u and u base going out with someone on something like that well you'll never be happy in life, it's shallow. money helps, being in a comfortable situation finacially takes a load of ones mind, but we're taking about having a car, and living at home. if someone is important to u u can build a new future together but money won't solve all of ur problems.. a lot of the time, people that don't have as much are more giving, warmer and appreciate the little things in life... love is not about money

i'm interested in the person, not how full their wallet is...

:)

It's not necessarily a money issue. I personally would not be interested in a man who lived at home with his mum and dad or who didn't have his own transport but it has nothing to do with money its more about maturity. Someone who stays at home with their parents long after its time to strike ut alone is simply delaying growing up and taking responsibility. I would prefer a man who was happy to use public transport when appropriate but who also had his own wheels. Its a real pain going out with someone with no car as you end up spending loads of time picking them up and dropping them off - if I wanted to be a taxi.....

There may be some element of money/property considerations in a relationship but it is pretty far down the list of what is important.
It depends on the relative financial status of each person and where each is on the wealth scale
Money is a minor matter. How each person in the relationship rates its importance probably won't even be a consideration. I don't recall that ever entering my mind in any relationships I have had.

My last girlfriend owned her own house, car, and plenty of money, I found my self asking would i have loved her if she had noting? Her love was more important to me than what she owned, given the choice of her or her wealth i would have chosen her. Unfortunately the feeling was not mutual and she left me for a "richer" guy who owned two houses. She said money was more important than my love, and will come back to me when I am rich.

There is absolutely nothing shallow about feeling that money makes a difference in life. This is the way our society operates & money can be an invaluable tool to do some really profoundly amazing things in life and in the world in which we live.

Money will bring nothing in terms of civilisation growth. As for a car, I would prefer to walk everywhere, than to see my grandchildren die from air pollution, or freeze. The future is in peril from the effects of those who drive 4X4's and Beemers (read: the WEALTHY).

No, I'm not interested in anyone more than any other person. Does matter matter? It seems like it doesn't. You could care less about the computer that is helping us talk. You care more about what we are talking about than the more important thing between us, our computers. Its ok, I don't care about my computer either, i'm just making a point.

i think if you like someone money is the last thing on the mind, to find love that is without condition lasts longer and has more fruit rich or poor if the spark is there let go of your ego and love
