I ran system restore on my laptop and lost a game i had payed for and downloaded from yahoo games.

Usually you are registered using your email address. You should be able to download the game again without paying. You might have received a confirmation email with registration number - if you use yahoo or similar for email, check your inbox - of course won't help if you had it saved in outlook.

If you go back to the restore system thing, It will say Restore the last Restore system or something like that then click it and everything sould come back

If the game is payed for you can download it again without paying twice.

most of these games have a registration process so you should be able to recover the serial from them
specially if its yahoo
