There's no English word for it, but the Yiddish word, "Kvell" is great.
Kvell means 'o be bursting with a spontaneously soaring heart from deep beauty. The sudden understanding of a piece of music. Deep eye contact or recognition from a new Lover. The appreciation of a sunset. The pride in one's child. The winning of a jackpot!
But to understand Joy, must we also understand and know Depression?

Siiting on top of the mountain in the Smokies Mountains, what a beautiful site & great view, it was absolutely the most beautiful site I've ever seen.

I studied abroad in Italy years ago, and I saw the most amazing art. I'm officially in love with Titian, the Sistine Chapel, Botticelli, Pieta...the list goes on and on. All of it took my breath away. And just the thought of seeing it still does!

the desert in Arizona surrounded by the mountains. Really the whole southwest US is beautiful.

Driving across Texas...... a double rainbow !! I almost cracked up the car staring at it. I know the chances of seeing that again in my life are slim and none.

Oh, yes. My daughter is so lovely, when she is asleep she looks so angelic- I wonder if she is real. My son has a grin that lights up my world. Their beauty astounds me everyday.
