1. In the top navigation menu, select Tools.
2. Click Internet Options.
3. Select the Content tab, and click AutoComplete.
4. To prevent AutoComplete from saving future entries, uncheck any of the four boxes listed:
* Web addresses — will no longer save website entries
* Forms — will no longer save website entries and account numbers
* User names and passwords on forms — will no longer save entered names and passwords
* Prompt me to save passwords — may automatically uncheck after you uncheck “User names and passwords on forms”
5. To delete stored information, click either of the two buttons shown:
* Clear Forms — will delete saved website entries and account numbers
* Clear Passwords — will delete saved passwords
6. Once your selections are made, click OK.

In the drop down menu of Yahoo search, you will find "Options". In this field you will be able to deselect autocomplete option and delete search history option. Sometimes, this field called "Options"is not visible. I don't know the reason but keep trying. Sooner or later you will see it.
