I'm writing a story called "The Suicide Note" I already know what it is about but what do you think it will be about? Like, if you saw it on a shelf at the bookstore what do you think it would be about?

If I were to guess...perhaps it's about a girl who is going through normal trials and tribulations of a teenage girl. Parents not getting along, boyfriend left her for another girl, kids at school laughing at her, pimples errupting everywhere due to the stress, grades failing and teachers threatening to keep her back, etc. She finds that even her best friend is no longer comforting and has no one to turn to for advice or just as a sounding board. She decides that life is no longer worth the pain and puts together a suicide note. But before she can go through with her plan, she encounters a little girl undergoing chemo therapy, with little chance of survival. She begins to talk with the little girl who amazing has a pretty good insight on life even though she is much younger, but her illness has opened her eyes prematurely. The main charactor eventually realizes that her problems are all a process of growing up, which she will be able to do, unlike her new freind. The note eventually gets burned when her new friend passes away.

Just an idea. Although I'm sure you already had an idea what to write about. ;)

Toss in some serious irony and make it about a love letter from an abusive man. The note leads to a relationship that leads to marriage and the woman is torn between leaving the man or staying..which would in essence be committing suicide..because he's going to kill her if she doesn't get away. The ending would be her writing a letter of goodbye......to top it off....the reader has to feel that the man will kill himself if she leaves him. That way, the final "goodbye" note is his suicide note.

I would think that maybe it was about a rich girl who married a guy who really married her for the money. Then he forces her to write a note telling her about her suicide so he can murder her, get the money, and get away with it. Macabre, morbid, yes. But it might be kind of a suspenseful book.

I would think it was a mystery (maybe a murder - not a suicide) - or someone on a quest to discover the true reason why someone killed themselves...
