I think he is trying to watch what he says or does so it doesnt come back to bite him in the butt. Especially with camaras all over the place.

Usually in the history of celebrities being on shows they feel they are too good for, they are normally the loudest and the biggest pain in the butt for the entire show. The ones that are the quietest are the ones who like their privacy but they do the show becouse their PR people say it will help their careers. A good example was Jordan Knight on the Surreal Life. He is normally a private person but only did the show becouse his people told him it would be good PR.

I don't think he is too big I just think that the show has been miscast - there aren't any really strong characters and little conflict outside of Jackiey. I think he comes across as being aloof and slightly insular. The problem with Big Brother now is that the show has been 'twisted' to death that it can choose to throw out the rule book when the ratings dip.
