I'm a guy and I shave my underarms! I feel that it's just good hygiene. Anti-perspirants & deodorants do no good when applied on hair. Anti-perspirants and deodorants work best when applied to shaved skin.

It's up to the guy, but since it's your personal preference, stick with it. If you feel fresher with shaved pits, there is nothing wrong with it.

I'm right there with you man. Anti-perspirants and deodorants don't seem to work as well when applied to a pit full of hair instead of on bare skin. I trim my pit hair very closely but don't shave it.

shaving any part of the male body is up to the person doing it. it does not mean the person is gay. every person needs to feel comfortable in his/her own body. no one should be judged for shaving or not shaving.
several years ago i went to see my dermatologist because i kept breaking out with boils in my pubic area and under may arms. he prescribed several types of creams, slaves, lotions, etc.; nothing worked. finally, he suggested that i shave the hair away when the areas became clear of the current outbreak of boils.
eventually i was able to do so. once the shaving started, the boils
immediately dried up, went away, and have not been back since.
my doctor insists that both areas are continously warmer and moister than any other parts of the body. consequently, they are breeding grounds for bacteria causing germs that attribute to the recurrence of boils.
i'm boil free and thankful i admit i shave. i also know i'm not gay and i'm not embarrassed to admit my pubes (everything) and underarms are kept totally bald at all times.

Well, that is a certainly a question to ponder. When I think of my husband lifting his arm and seeing that huge patch of hair, it is kind of ugly. I also know that he would never shave his underarms. Now the hair on his legs aggravate me because I like to run the ceiling fan year round and he always cuts it off because he claims it tickles the hair on his legs. My response, "SHAVE YOUR D_ _ _ LEGS THEN". In closing, I suppose it is up to the individual.

Some wome prefer guys who shave their underarms!! If that's what you are most comfortable doing, then go for it.

Think about it this way: most days you are wearing a shirt, so no one is going to know if you shaved - but they will know if you stink!!!

I have never shaved my arm pit hair and never will. No offense but I feel good about myself with arm pit hair. But every one likes their own unique way :)

Well hair helps air circulate so removing it would make it harder and would make it sweat and smell easier but it is your choice really nothing wrong with it
