Perhaps there is so much to do at the office, that you feel overwhelmed by the prospect of it not all getting done, and then the weekend/holiday comes around and you are forced to take time off, yet would rather be working to feel like you've made substantial progress... or perhaps you're bored with your current position and wish for something exciting to go back to...Perhaps you feel unsafe in your current working environment. Try to identify what is causing the fear. Sometimes just knowing the root of the emotion helps to start the process towards solving the issue.

It doesn't sound like a panic attack, however you haven't given a lot of information other than you "fear" returning to work after time off. Review this site to help you determine if it's a true panic attack. http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=55002

I get nervous about it too and I do the same when returning to classes when in school. No, it's not a panic attack, just a change in your routine back to a schedule and responsibility. The only way to overcome it is just to go and after you go and get into the routine again the fear will go away.

I have been off work now for 2 weeks and start in again tomorrow working 2 jobs. I enjoy the work so I adjust pretty easily, even look forward to it.

It can be a panic attack on a low level. I've had them before - always on my way to work after an extended period of time not being there.
Try making a list of things need attention on Monday, as well as a refresher of things you were working on Friday afternoon. Instead of cramming all of your last minute weekend to-dos on Sunday night/Monday morning, try doing laundry and ironing on Saturday and use Sunday afternoon and evening for relaxing instead of stressing about what needs to be done.
When things get put to the end of the day on Sunday, it stresses your evening and you get less sleep. You're less refreshed for Monday morning and that idea that you've forgotten something or that you're not going to be at your best consumes your mind.
Best advice I can give is this: Try to leave a bit earlier on Monday mornings. Take your time going to work. Perhaps stop by, get a cup of coffee and leisurely drink it. Arrive at work a little earlier, that way if you feel a panic attack coming on, you can take a minute to gather your thoughts and breathe before going into work looking frazzled.

Good luck.

It's a matter of going from the flow of fun and relaxation to a structured envionment where you might think you won't measure up, co-workers won't accept you or the boss will fire you. Some of it is normal. If you've having actual panic attacks, get some insight through a professional.

You got some free time from the weekend and holidays that you enjoyed. When you must go back, it interrupts your enjoyment and creates stress knowing you must adapt to the regular, working routine.

Probably not a panic attack you just hate that your free time is over with and you have to work again.

I always felt like the rest of the staff had been talking about me while I was away.

Just march right in there and get to work like you always do.

Go in with a positive attitude!
