Basically tell her that this is life and all men are not like this. That if she believes in God, she will know that all men are not like this.
One has to climb a lot of mountains to find a valley so the saying goes. This means there will be hardship, pain and tears on route, but in the end, the valley is the peaceful place, the one where she will meet her true love. Tell her that you are glad that she is in the world and if the affair of her Mother did not happen, then the world would not have been a better place for she would not have been born. But the world IS a better place because she is in it.

Your friend is not living her onw life. She is living her mother's life of being cheated my her husband - male. In fact her mother is also not living her life. She is living life of her husband. He has cheated her and she forget to live her life. We did not accepted the fact of getting cheated by husband. Had she accepted, there would not have problem. The best solution to this problem is stop living others life. and start living own life.

Another things, if we can not change history, we can not, but we definately can chang efuture. Plan future the way you want to live and start living so.

More over I can suggest do 'Landmark forum', about which you can find on internet.

Tough one, just remember the problem is hers and all you can do is be there for her, be a friend, a soundign board if she wants to talk about it, and manbe a voice of reason when she says like all guys are cheats, etc.

Tell her that not every man is the same so what one of them cheated but that doesn't mean that all the other man out there do that some do but not all of them so just tell her that there might be some crappy man out there but there are a lot of good ones also.

You can help her by you actions. One action is worth a thousand words. Be kind, be gentle, be patient and as and when you get a chance tell her that all men are not alike. Let all your actions (with her) be consistent with you words. Your actions and your words can relax her and reassure her that what you say is true. But don't expect quick result because they say 'once bitten twice shy'

Just assure her not all fathers are like hers. Maybe gather info. on other fathers to compare them to hers! It just takes time for trust and you might also gather info. on what trust is and how to trust
