Don't believe the hype. Sony is having problems selling PS3's at the high price point they have it at right now. The real seller at the moment is the Nintendo Wii, since it's still sold out everywhere. See for yourself....

Just a personal opinion, but I think the Xbox 360 is the one to beat, this generation.

The playstation is definately better than the xbox 360. In the ps3 yo feel like you are inside the game, the graphics are better it costs more but you wont have to worry about replacing it, with the xbox yo do because after some long hours of gameplay the system is gonna get hot, you can have longer gameplay because it wont get hot and you wont have to be replacing the fan all the time. Also on the ps3 you can watch bluray disc on high definition and on the xbox you cant. Also normal dvd movies can be played in high definition and you can play your cds. It also has a greater and faster processor. You can connect your psp to it, you can play ps2 and ps one games and you also have HDMI. I hope this info can help you.

PS3 is better because it has better graphics on an HD T.V. Also for the Xbox 360 you might need to buy a cooler and that cost about 30$ because if you use the Xbox 360 for a certain amount of hours or leave it on the Mother board would crash. So inconclusion the PS3 is better because better gameplay and graphics and last longer.

I used to think so... before it came out. Graphics are comparable. Gameplay is the same as the PS2. AI ultimately depends on the game you play.

The PS3 definitely has superior hardware. But generally programmers take a while to completely utilize that hardware. As a result Xbox 360 games are better at the moment but PS3 should catch up in a hurry after they get past their first generation games.

only time will tell really, generally speaking , the Ps3 has superior processing power and a blu ray dvd player built in..I have heard that xbox 360 is much more suited to online gaming, and of course sony have a huge network of exclusive developers creating games that you will only see on ps3...if the price drops and the developers utilise the power that the machine has then xbox will be left behind, even though it got a year head start
