Can't remember who said it.but this quote is an answer in itself "For every action, there is an equal reaction" My meaning is..In the event that you face negativity, the best opposition is positivity. Negativity piled on top of negativity will lead to nothing but a heaping pile of $*^%..I mean, er Uh..Negativity..Whereas, if you throw a little bit of positive thinking atop te heap..the pile will begin to wear down.

Yes. Sometimes I feel like thinking positively about a situation will change the way you approach it, leading to the better outcome. However, I think there's a difference between positive thinking and blind optimism. If you're ridiculously optimistic then you're just bound for disappointment in the long run.

if your thinking good about something, your not stressing yourself out with the worry of it and you able to do better at whatever your thinking about.
if your negatively thinking, you will do less performance and have built up anxiety about the issue before hand, which causes depression.
