Ive made online friends...sure. Stay in touch as long as it lasts...maybe one day it will fade away, or maybe it will go on for years...As long as you enjoy what there is and stay safe, then just keep enjoying the chats/emails etc. Only time will tell.
and as for 'meeting' just be careful...many times people ARE who they say they are...many times they are not. I dont encourage 'meeting' people from on line all the time...but if you do...protect yourself by letting someone know what the plan is and make sure you meet at a very public place. Keep it safe. Also remember that things can be very different in person...maybe its best to stay as online friends:) and keep enjoying that.
