I would like to know, if you have a contract phone, and you text to enter a competition does the amount get charged as a third party call, or does it get deducted from your own contract? I am with T-mobile Flext.

Hello there,
The T-Mobile FLEXT plan is indeed a unique case. For instance a £35 monthly charge allows you £180 of credit.

In this case entering the competition will cost you 10p from your monthly allowance plus the cost of entering the competition (usually £1.50).

Your bill at the end of the month will have the cost of entering the competition added to it, For instance on the FLEXT 35 your bill will be £36.50.

Hope that helps

You get charged on top of your bill....... it doesn't count as one your free texts if that's what you mean.

'Cos it usually costs about £1.50 + network charges (the cost of a text i.e 12p).......so the network charge will count as one of your free texts if you get free texts, then you get charged £1.50 on top.
