My question has nothing to do with why we went into Iraq. It has to do with disproving the false and illogical reason being oil.

A good question that you'll never get an answer too.The fact that we haven't actually taken any oil from Iraq doesn't seem to factor into these peoples thinking either.

Fahrenheit 911? A cut and paste propaganda piece counting on peoples sheer ignorance of the facts.90% of the "facts" in that hit piece are easily disproved by anyone with the inclination to look them up.

So you are saying the Republicans attacked Iraq because they were unsucessful in securing the ability to drill in the US? If that were be true it makes them look even worse! I don't think this logical path helps you slam liberals.

It's to restrict Iraqi drilling and keep the world price high so Texxon can gouge us. The environmentalists work for Texxon; don't believe their poses of being enemies. The enviruses are rich kids who can never really be against their class, no matter how much they lie to themselves.

It's NOT that simple. It's also a matter of power and getting a military strong-hold in the middle east. And that's military bases.

Because it's an easy argument to make that gets reaction out of people. They wouldn't like this war if Saddam actually had 10 nuclear missiles ready to shoot at New York.
