I heard today he has declared for the draft, even though I think he should have stayed in college, hes certainly the best QB in the draft, you think the raiders will draft him or will they wise up and draft an O lineman or somebody

I can't beleive people are still crying about Brady Quinn, hes one of the best Choke Artists ever.....He's never won a bowl game and his "great offense" got shut down by every good team they played this year...all his impressive "stats" were against teams like army and navy, the only halfway decent team they actually beat was Penn State....if the raiders take him they will be sorry

oh and Russell posseses by far the best Arm of any of the quarterbacks available, doesnt choke under pressure like Quinn does (played absolutely horrible in the bowl game), and for all the arm strength he has is still very accurate so please please please stop crying about Brady Quinn its quite annoying....If you wanna question Russell being the best, at least use Brian Brohm who has proven he can win big games, and doesnt choke

To the guy who keeps pushing Troy Smith, I agree with you hes an awesome QB and has a great career ahead of him, I just think Russells got a stronger arm thats all

On second thought, I hope Brady Quinn does get drafted by the Raiders, he will fit right in there, he'll be surrounded by people who never lived up to their potential!!

Oh my God u idiots think Brady Quinn is good Brady Quinn is so Sorry he has got to be the most-overhyped qb on the most overhyped team ever.
Did u watch the Sugar bowl it was LSU 41 notre dame 14 and it wasn't even that close. In every big game against good competition Brady Quinn has been a DISASTER!!!! This guy is a best a 3rd round Qb. And anybody that even watches football know his stats are a result of inferior competition. He is Crap and will never be good in the NFL never!!
The three best QB in this year draft is Jamarcus Russell played in the Sec and played well. Brian brohm of louisville just a really good qb and Troy smith (troy smith reminds me of tom brady very good college qb overlook.) Troy smith shows up in big games which is a sign of fighter a football player has to be big in big games.
That is always a sign about a football does he make plays when it counts Russell does that, smith does that, Brohm does that, Brady quinn just disappears every time man!!
Brady quinn would be worst investment the raiders could make ever!!
Besides I would take adrian peterson kid is awesome o calvin johnson but since the raiders don't have a qb get a running back like peterson then sign a qb. play good defense and run the balll u gonna get at least 7 to 8 wins just doing that

i think of all the QBs taken this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days will noticeably lots be busts. Russell is a competent participant yet with the Raiders dealing Randy Moss to the Pats, that became the only respectable reciever the Raiders had. It dont remember how far Russell can throw it from his knees, without actual circulate-to reciever, no sparkling decrease #a million RB and a bad line, Russells occupation with the Raiders heavily isn't an exceedingly good one. And Brady Quinn, theres a reason he slipped to #22. not being in a convention hurts Notre Dame and their potentialities and Quinn became basically respectable against good compitition. This QB type would be nowhere close interior the tip to youthful, Leinart, and Cutler from the '06 draft.

The Raiders will take Russell, no doubt. They currently don't have a quarterback unless people think Andrew Walter will get it done. They don't need to draft defense until the 4th round. So i'm guessing they take Russell 1st, an O-line guy 2nd, and they draft a tight end (maybe a WR but they have a glaring hole at TE) 3rd.
He should've stayed in college though for another year, then he would've been the #1 QB w/o a doubt. I can't believe I'm saying this being a die hard Irish fan.

is that a joke? hes not the best qb in the draft at all. and dont even try to tell me that hes the best cause he can pull it down and run with it. hes not even gonna go high in the first round. brady quinn will be the number 1 pick, and dont try to say that russell beat him in the bowl game. that doesnt matter

Raiders need an offensive player Russell, Johnson, Peterson. I don't care which as long as they score TDs. You can't win if you dont score. The defense is young and good.
