First of all, I'm glad you're not asexual (that would just be weird) ;P
To answer your question, Yes Tom Cruise is probably "cooler" but they're both pretty low on the cool scale, if you ask me. I had a poster of Josh hartnet on my wall a few years ago, but I haven't considered him cool for a while now. (Wicker Park...need I say more?) Tom Cruise has better movies, but they're still not my favorites (Vanilla Sky...) Plus Tom has kinda gone a little crazy it would seem, and I still resent him for kidnapping and brainwashing little Joey Potter.

Tom was "way cool" back in the beginning of his career. He dated Rebecca DeMornay and later married Mimi Rogers -- both stunning and sensual women.
My favorite movie of his is: Risky Business (when half the women in the world probably fell in love with him). Following in 2nd place is: Born on the 4th of July (when I realized he really could act and wasn't just another handsome hunk).
But Tom has been acting a bit bizarre lately (nothing to do with Katie Holmes). I just think Tom is desperately trying to prove something, but the question is What?
Tom is still somewhat attractive, but is definitely losing his "way cool" status.

Actually I think Josh Hartnett is cooler, because too much of a good thing is a bad thing. Tom Cruise is OK.

Tom Cruise isn't half as cool as he thinks he is.
Josh Hartnett has much more integrity and is much more interesting (IMO) then TC.
