ok so i don't want to have a big party...i'm thinking 15-20 people.
I don't want to spend a lot...but i do want to 'transform' my house (or at least the party room) to fit a theme. If you suggest a restaurant, should we just eat and leave? to me, that's kind of boring.
What are some of your best, most creative party games? (not including any board game! I want something everyone can participate in!)
Thanks so much!

Try doing a web search on "sweet 16 party" and you'll find lots of ideas.

I hired a DJ and partied outside. We typed up a note for all the neighbors, within 3 blocks of us in all directions, that stated what we were doing, the times and how to reach us if noise became a problem. We did not have one complaint. Many said thank you for letting them know.

I wish I could remember what my sister's both did. I want to say slumber parties or something like that.

Happy Birthday.

maybe you could try a dollar store for decorations that way you don't have to spend a lot on that and can spend more on something else. they have snacks at dollar stores to or you can try hitting up target or walmart for that. as for games maybe if you have a laser quest place near you or something or for my sweet 16 which was like last year i invited my friends over and i had previously told them to give me a list of songs they liked and nay Cd's which we played then we played twister and truth or dare we played spin the bottle and 7 minutes in heaven and we went to the pool, went to the mall and laser quest but basically we hung out around my house and did a bunch of the kissing games and what not and we took a bunch of pictures with digital cameras and put them on myspace. like you would hang out on the weekend and it was fun. everyone still talks about it. oh and i know you said not board games but i don't know if cranium is considered one. we played that. i had about 30 people at mine and we played cranium and taboo.

Try watching: "My Super Sweet Sixteen" on MTV. I know they have big parties and all, but you can get ideas from their parties. The parties they have are really cool and have a bunch of ideas. Good luck!
