Good question! When you say "race" I assume you mean white-black, or Chinese-black etc... The King of Jordan who is obviously Arabic married an American Caucasian but that's not European. Centuries ago, alliances with other countries were made through the union of marriage. For instance King Henry VIII married Anne Bolin of France to secure an alliance with France. Other than that kind of thing, I can't think of any patriarchs or monarchs that actually married outside their race.

A good example would be the Prince of Denmark who married an Australian lady named Mary Donaldson. He met her at a pub during the Olympic Games in Sydney and they both fell for each other. Beautiful Mary is now a Princess of Denmark through marriage. One or two years ago, they had their first baby - a boy. The Prince and Princess make a very beautiful royal couple.

The Danish Royal Family seem fond of marrying outside their ethnic group. The current Queen Margarithe married a Frenchman. Her son Frederik married an Ausdtralian woman - Mary and her son Joachim married a woman of Japanese origin.

As far as actual skin colors (not nationalities) I have heard of an elder princess named Charolette is/was half black and she married into the predominantly white English royal family. And yes I have heard of an Arab prince who marred a white American girl. But oddly enoughs Arabs are considered white (at least on the US Census).
