There are millions of things to do here! Depends on what you like to do. There are some great clubs (check out The Compound in Fitchburg), In winter there is skiing (check out Wachusett Mountain they have a good day guarantee so if you don't like the conditions you can come back another day for free), In the fall there are great festivals (at Wachusett Mountain and all over the place) and leaf peeping. In Summer there are a bunch of cool lakes and camping. Great restaurants, shopping, schools, everything.

Right now, the most popular thing to do would be skiing. There's also some nice shops and places to eat. And other smaller activities like horseback riding, etc. And Worcester is just a short drive from Boston, so if you wanted to go to a big city, it's just a few hours away!

There is lots to do depending on the season. In winter there is skiing at local mountains including wachusett and ice skating (if it ever gets cold enough this winter!), in spring there are farms where you can learn about maple sugaring (heffer farm is interesting), in summer you can go biking or hiking in state parks (purgatory chasm is just one example), explore the quabbin reservoir anytime of year, and then check out all the foliage in the fall. There is also shopping, dining, and the usual cultural activities. You should also check out the local colleges for events.

Something you shouldn't miss in that area, a living history museum called Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge Mass. Worth the trip!
