Was it because his wife Michelle Gellar was in the cast?? Did he like the story?? Because it really sucked and critics has given this movie a B-, so more of the same. Why coming from good actinvg works ended up n a pathetic animated film like "Happy Never After? Financial convenience?

When I say respected actor, I mean that he has a good way of life, you know, never a scandal, he is very polite with media, people like working in movies with him, he is never involved in typical hollywood scandals, you will never see him naked on public places, getting drugs or drunk. That is what I meant by respected. And for me his acting work, among many youngsters, is quite good. It is just an opinion.

First of all, I wouldn't call Freddie Prinze Jr. a respected actor, but that's beside the point. This looks like a cute movie. It's by the makers of Shrek (which, by the way, starred Mike Meyers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz) As the previous poster mentioned, it's not unheard of for a movie star to play a role in a Kid's Movie. And the way my nieces and nephews have been talking about going to see this one, Freddie probably won't be doing too bad after it comes out.

Have you noticed how many great actors have been in animated movies lately? It's a Hollywood trend, and it all started either with Madagascar or Finding Nemo. Elijah Wood in Happy Feet, Robin Williams in Robots, etc.
