Are you repressing something?
That's not normal to feel so extreme.
And maybe you should rethink your idea about friendship.
He has not turn gay. He is. He has probably been for a while.
For him telling it to such a homophobe only proves he is courageous.
If he didn't that does not changed the matter you didn't realised before you knew.
So, there is then a problem. You start hating someone you care for, because... that's nonsense...

You can not change a person from being gay. It doesn't just happen. You are usually born that way and you just always have that feeling in the back of your head. So it is not their fault. You need to be a better friend.
Also if your trying to be polite, " fudge packer" is not nice! Why don't you just come on out and say what you really feel to your friend, and maybe he'll punch you!

that was POLITE???????
Dude, get in touch with your own fears about sexuality. If your friend is gay, then he probably has always been so. A strip club won't "turn him straight". The only thing you could hope to accomplish by taking him to a strip club would be to inspire him to work on the girls' make up and maybe become a drag queen himself.

Oh my gosh, are you serious?
He's your friend, and you're going to do that to him just cause he doesn't like what you like?
You're not exactly the best example of a good friend.
I'm sure your friend's going through a hard time right now.
I mean-- if he just came out and told he was gay, then he's probably going to be telling everybody else pretty soon, or already has.
Be there for him, and don't try to stray him away from who he really is.
He trusted you enough to tell you a VERY personal thing, so respect him.

you cant sway him. He is what he is. can you accept that or you gonna be shallow minded and contribute more hatred to the world? How would you like it if he took you a gay bar to convert you. I f he isnt hitting on you why should his sexuality affect your friendship. I will bet you know more gays than you think. Oh I am straight by the way. Not all gays are sexual predators or pedophiles or anything else like that, and the same is true for heterosexuals. please allow your friend to first do something that you can hate hime for. If he confided his gayness to you then he values your friendship more than you could possibly know

It won't work. If your friend has decided to be an active homosexual there isn't much you can do. If you can't deal with it, you might have to walk away from the friendship. On the other hand, if this person really is your friend, you will learn to overlook the issue and realize that he is still the same guy he just will be dating a different group people.

Not unless you'll return the favor by going to a gay strip club. Be his friend and accept him, or get out of his life.

no dont do that, my best friend is gay and he's happy(even tho he gets made fun of) u cant get someone to go straight, u r born gay(i think) gender is on your head, sexuality is inbetween yur legs and if he likes guys , so what, he's probably not gonna try to sleep with u out of anybody u should be the supporting him, he trusted u enough for him to tell you so thats jsut what i think, i hope you 2 can remain friends, to me this is just like when yur friend likes something u dont like if you like 007 nightfire and he likes donkey kong thats what makes people different and makes friendships so interesting

every homophob i have ever known has eventually come to their senses and admitted to be gay themselves.
get over it. if you were a real friend you'd support him but tell him you don't approve if it bothers you that much. just be happy for him. sheesh. stop thinking of yourself.

Maybe this will make you change your views on homosexuals. There is nothing you can do to change his sexuality, it is something he was born with..and something as simple as taking him to a strip club would be more fun to him rather than exciting.
