Iam Kenyan and i think you should arrange with your travel agent so that you can tour the Nairobi National Park.It is only 7km from the city centre,and i promise it will be worth while.You will get to see black rhinoceros, diverse birdlife ,
large predators- lion, leopard, hyena and cheetah in their natural habitat..free range!!

You may also have a meal at Serena hotel,(www.serenahotels.com) or Hilton at Nairobi if you prefer five star.OR Carnivore restaurant, and experience true Kenya hospitality.

After a visit to the park see if you can fit in a trip to Bomas of Kenya, thats if your interested in seeing different traditional dances and learning the history of different tribes... The National Museum is also interesting, Giraffe Center, Ostrich Farm, Mamba (crocodile) village...

You could go to the elephant orphanage and adopt an elephant. (http://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/)
There is a giraffe place close to the elephant place, too.

just visit the museums....don't be afraid of anything Kenya is a good country..
and if it is bad then all others are same too...............WELCOME TO KENYA.....
