This woman is like kind of a christian writer. In almost all her books someone dies at the end. One of them is about a girl who is in the hospital and she meets a boy with tb and they get married and right after that he dies. There's another book about missionaries who fall in love and the man dies at the end. The last one I remember is about a girl who visits an amish family and becomes very close with them and falls in love with their son and the little girl dies. Thats all the books I can remember. I want to say her name was laura or laureen or something like and she had three names, but I'm not really sure. I would appreciate any help! Thanks
