When you have a yeast infection, does it destroy vaginal tissue?

I was just wondering about if candida overgrowth in the vaginal area destroys tissue. What can I do to repair tissue?

not is its treated, with any infection im sure that it could be harmful if not taken care of. as a rule yeast infections wont harm the tissue at all, but if it does vaginal tissue will always replenish it's self much like a healing scar will add new flesh to the tramuatized area. good luck and get that thing treated if thats the case. good luck
