Doctors will not usually induce for anemia. Either they will allow you to have a normal birth or schedule a c-section. Sometimes, normal births will cause you to lose a lot of blood. This happened to me. My uterus didn't contract quickly enough after the placenta detached, and I almost needed a transfusion. So it depends a lot on your blood count.

If you've been diagnosed with pre-eclampsia, there's a chance your platelet count may be dangerously low. If your platelet count is low, you'll require a c-section because you won't be able to clot your blood after giving birth. There's a possiblity you could die.

Hope this helps! =)

They won't induce you for anemia. They will watch you more closely during the birth and post-partum for blood loss.

Make sure you are taking iron supplements and eating iron rich foods.
