No, you should go to an actual piercing place. My sister went and got her ears pierced there, and they did both at once. She was young at the time and cried the whole day after. She ended up getting an infection in her ears and the holes were lopsided. Meanwhile, I went to a professional and got mine done painless. She went to the professional later and loved it. Don't get you ears pierced at Claire's, they are not trained to do it.

Yes Claires is a safe place to have your ears pierced at, just be sure that you follow their directions on caring for them afterwards! And be still while they do the procedure~no wiggling or jerking!

I had my daughter ear pierced at claires they were excelent (she is 4 years old I'm sure you can imagine how scared she was) The ladies were very helpful and she still likes going there for new bling. They will do both ears at once if you request it .

I don't think it is i know someone who got their ear pierced there and they did it completely slanted she said it was really painful and she had to let it close up and get it done some where else alot of people say that they have no idea on what they are doing.

Noooo, please go to a real piercer... please. Claire's uses guns, not real needles. The guns add to the pain, the pressure on the piercing and you run a greater risk of getting an infected or lopsided piercing.
All of which are not good.
please go to a real shop.

Forgot to add:
A real shop will have earring with longer posts that are ideal to accomodate your thick ears and the swelling.
Claire's won't, a smaller post that cannot do that WILL get infected. Very very not pretty....

Yes it is because I got my ears peirced there, and they use a little thing it takes like one sec to go threw and is so painless... you should do it with no worrys! =]

i have gottan my ears pierced 3 times there, and my ears are perfectly fine, i say get ur ear pierced there, i have them pierced twice in both ears

No. Go to a reputable piercing studio. Piercing guns are impossible to completely sanitize.
