THe babes dady looked for me when I was pregnat so that I would live with him, he sent me money the plain tickets evry thing you can think of. But my mom never let me go. now she tells me that if comes back or calls me I schould live. I still love him. Do you think I should wait or look for him the same way he did? I need help Please!!!!!

Yes, I think you should look for him. He needs to see his baby and it would be great for you guys to reconnect. Tell him that you still love him. Hopefully, he is not in another relationship. It is still very important that you find him... if only for you baby's sake. I'm assuming that they have never met when I say this but the baby needs to at have a relationship with his father as well. I hope that you are able to find him. I was a mother at 16. My parents and his kept us apart as much as they possibly could for the first two years of our daughters life because of their own freakish control issues. After we both turned 18, we moved in together and got married. That was 15 years ago. We are now in our 30's still married...very happily and now have 3 beautiful children. If you don't find him and explore how you both feel about each other, you will constantly look over your shoulder and think "what if". Trust me when I tell you ...that's no way to live. Go find out??!!!

Wow don't take advice from these young people over your mom's. She obviously doesn't want you to see the baby's father because he is wrong for you or maybe she feels scared for your safety. Listen to your mom and you won't regret it.

In a way your mom had no right to tell you that you couldn't go.
If you still love him and want him to be a part of your childs life than go find him.

Look for him, he may want to know about his child. He may also have someone else in his life. So look for him first see what hes been up to and see where it goes from there.

if you love him, then look for him. if you don't have any feelings for him, and don't have any intentions whatsoever on spending your time and life with him, then don't look for him. simple as that. you are almost 18, don't let your mom tell you what to do, but always follow your mom's advice, ur mom is always right. :)

listen soldiers_are_brave...you know NOTHING...women all over the world get pregnant at young ages...its no ones fault...it takes 2 to make one. i got pregnant at 17 and we used 2 methods...pills and condoms...so dont tell her its her fault...
I think you should look for your baby's father...he obviously wants to be in your life. YOU LOVE HIM....LOOK FOR HIM!!!
