I don't think coming out at 12 is such a great idea honestly. Wait until you're a bit older, until you've completed puberty.
You're still growing physically and emotionally at this point. At your age, you still have a long way to go. Give yourself time, don't be in such a hurry to come out, you've got time.

Oh goodness. Hon, if I were your mother I'd kill you, not because he's a boy, but because he's a freshman in high school and you're a 6th grader! (I'm guessing based on the ages. How close did I get?)
I have absolutely no good way for you to tell your parents about an older guy. Not at your age. Now if you get back to me in 5 years I'll have all sorts of tips for you from experience. :)
You might want to be that blunt with them as you were here. Say to them that you've met this great guy. Describe him. Then describe the relationship (how you're not sexual). Then tell his age. If I were your mom I'd still flip out but not as much.
Good luck!

I think your parents should tell you that this boy is older. He might gave you the feeling you love him and that you are homosexual, while your not (that is what my parents said). Cause you are young and he is older he can influence you and often parents hope that their childs turn into straight people (so do mine)
I better should wait with telling them, unless you both are really in love. Than I should take him home and tell your parents. Look, this is X? and he is my bf
good luck!

Invite your friend over and introduce him. I'd like you to meet my friend. Just get on with your life. Don't beg for acceptance. Your parents may or may not be jacked about your friend's age but as far as your sexuality goes they really can't take away your birthday. Just live your life. Your parents will catch up. It is not about confession.

Don't.
With that age difference as well as the general attitude many parents seem to have toward gays and lesbians you could be opening up a world of hurt for you both. There is the possibility they could even try to have him locked up for child molestation.
Keep very quiet until you are much older.

Dude, I HIIIIIGHLY suggest you wait till you're at least 14. Or maybe 18. 'Cus if you tell 'em now, they're gonna flip out! Of course if they now him already know him like he's a family friend or something then there's always that chance that they might accept it. But just wait a few years if they don’t know him.

I would invite your friend over on a weekend first, maybe let him sleep over if your both guys and have your Mom and Dad meet the person. If your a girl, again, invite over to meet your parents but unless they approve of him sleeping on the couch, he can go home. One way or another, you need to break the ice somehow. Feel free to write me or message me at EdF253 (messenger) or EdF253@yahoo.com (email)

Don't worry dear, if you don't bother to take a good English dictionary with you when you tell them, they will never understand what you mean.

I would keep it undercover if I was you.
And if there is no sex?
How do you see him as your boyfriend?
I don't quit understand you.
Rob.
