I have a Dell XPS laptop, which has an insanely loud fan, especially if I'm doing anything draining. Can anyone suggest a good liquid coolant system, and at what price range am I looking at? Also, if you know any affordable non-pci video cards, would be appreciated. Thanks...

i've never seen liquid cooling on a laptop but if it does exist then probably expensive, can you get to the fan to clean it ? are you sure it is the fan and not the harddrive making the noise.

While you CAN do liquid cooling on a laptop... there is no kit you can buy, you will have to do all the fittings yourself and case mods, yourself. The laptop after the mod will no longer be portable.

Non-PCI video cards is pretty broad... that leaves either AGP or PCIe, neither of which you could put in the laptop, if that was your intention. If you want a new video card for the Dell XPS, you have to send it back to Dell and see if they have a newer card for it.

There was an article about a liquid cooled laptop a while ago but I have lost the link, as I said, it was no longer portable and this is very impractical.
