I haven't seen those (I am one of about 10 Americans, it seems, who neither own nor want an ipod or similar device) but I can tell you how to turn what you see into something you can make.

First, look at the item as it's offered. Does it give a size in the description? If so, write that down. If not, look at the model that's wearing it and take your best guess. Find a scarf of your own (or a friend's) that fits you the same way -- or close to it -- that the shown one fits the model. Measure it. IF there's no model wearing it, judge the size by comparing it to the ipod it's supposed to hold. Figure out how the ipod pocket or strap is attached. Measure your own ipod to see how big it'll need to be. See of you can figure out the best positioning for it by checking where the pocket sits on the one in the picture.

Once you've got measurements, go check other knitted items that are the same weight and roughly the same type of yarn you'll want to be using. If the scarf is, say 7" wide, measure 7" on the other item and then count the stitches you'll need to make 7" when working with this yarn. Find a knitting needle that goes comfortably into the stitches on the finished piece; that's the size you should use.

I knit easily, and prefer making up my own patterns. This is how I figure out how many stitches and what size needles I want to use.
