Ho-ray! you have ratties. They are the best. If he is a sleeper, try Dormio, a Latin word having to do with sleepiness. Smeekers works for both male and female. OH, you know you could find an English to Latin dictionary on line and find some fun words to use for names.
Have fun and a long life to your rats!

Regis, with a middle name of course like Shea. Imagine the looks from humans and the little rat ego when you call him, "Regis Shea come eat!"
BTW, rats make the coolest pets. Mine were named Algenon (only male), Rachele, Sophie, Ali and Bethany (Baby Beth).

Well, you've come up with pretty exotic and novel names for them, so how about...

Baltazar?

or the name of a ruler, like Ramses?
