Something isn't right in what you are saying, this isn't criticism, but let say, If you say : I don't want to not prey?, you are saying some how that you don't which to stop praying?, so, if God gave you life, and life is God business, you are a believer, what is there to you more Important than HIM(God), in this Your Life!, Perhaps, you just cough a Bug, or something, Perhaps I can't answer your question as you may which, but what about HIM(God), if I were you I will ask HIM, directly, perhaps, Jesus?, can Jesus, help, Grow will required for you to fallow the Universal Law, and God desires for Human to achieved and become. Maybe HIM(God), have let you some space for you to begin a better and closer relation with his Son, after all you will need to understand one of this day's that the only way to God, is through his only Son, Jesus. don't you like the idea????. Dream, 17 year old friend dream, and then begin a new grow, don't make God nor Jesus wait, made the world wait, but not anyone of God Family, prey for guidance???? <<>> God bless you, in Jesus Name.Amen.

Maybe you should get a job or two and save up a lot of cash and travel - sleep under the stars, smell the flowers (while you can). Maybe you should turn away from the education which will tie you down for numerous years; an education that you don't appear to want at this time in your life. Uni' is labour intensive, very hard work. I know this, I did it. Seventeen is very young. Far too young to be having such thoughts of hopelessness. Let a go a little.Look for what makes you happy; find that thing and pursue it with all the energy your heart can muster. Allow nothing to get in your way. Understand that the place where you are now is not the place where you will be tomorrow, or six months or six years from now. In ten years you will barely remember the way you are feeling at this time. At forty it, likely as not, be forgotten. The universe is a transitory place. All things pass on; nothing remains the same. You say that you do not know what you want. Yet in the final lines of you message you state what you want: to sleep under the sky, to sit near the sea, smell the flowers and swim in the ocean. Eg: find out how what you could do to get a job abroad - waiting tables in the south of France. I travelled there - and aroudn the rest of France, in a car, by myself. The weather is lovely; the ambience incredible. The flora and fauna stunning. If you are unhappy where you are and with what you've got; with what you are seemingly stuck with then look elsewhere. Set you sights on a goal - even if that goal is finding out what your goal is - and do it with all your heart.
Hope this helps. Neil, UK.

Tell me, who had a really good goal that got that person somewhere? I have no goal either because creating a goal creates only misery. There is no practical, good reason why you are where you are: leaving highschool, going to college. I'd say you doing a good job giving up god, thats just another hollow goal. I just want to point out that you are doing everything you can other than to live "this." Whatever you think this is. Everyone puts so much energy in trying to do something else, when this is all that there is; stop trying to do something with it, you will always do something with "it" anyway.

Are you are trying to grow up too fast?...stop and smell the roses!!!..go to the sea!! be very quiet and listen...perfectly said by yourself...also?...you may be going through a "hormonal" change...it will soon pass...keep your mind open and don't sweat the small stuff..you will be fine...listen to your heart and quit trying to talk to it and convince it of something that you or others expect from yourself. Experiences in life will always affect what you do or don't want. In time these answers will come. I promise. Todays world is extremely stressful with all the negativity. That doesn't make it very easy for someone your age either to even look forward because we don't know what the future is even going to bring...it is so uncertain right now...

I might be the only guy to tell you this here, but being bored is not such a bad thing. Go ahead and be really bored. I encourage you to be as bored as you can be. Take a lot of time to be bored to the gills. In this way, you might become so bored you might actually want to do something, and then maybe you'll find something that interests you enough to do something about it. I suspect that part of the problem is that for a while you thought you should be a doctor or something, but you're finding out that your heart just isn't in it. It's becoming like a boring job to you, and you loathe the surge of work that's coming to you for something you don't really want to do. Welcome to life, it happens to a lot of us. What you need to do is to find out for yourself what is it that really does motivates you, but right know you don't even know. Take your time to find out.

the important thing to remember is that we all have these feelings at one time or another. You are not unique. Watch the movie "Cast Away". Tom Hanks' observation towards the end of the movie 'talked' to me. All he could do on that island was to breathe each day and go on. Write your feelings in a journal and start it today. if you want to e-mail me it's sushimaven1@aol.com

Make an effort to help some people who are less fortunate than you. Volunteer to help seniors or at a rehab or cancer facility. Helping those who are suffering often helps us to put life in perspective and to see the purpose in all life.
