You probably shouldn't because you could get reported for chatting or personal communication or harassment. The idea of Yahoo answers is to ask a question and get an answer, not to make friends. It really discourages people to reply or "replay" to your questions if they know you're going to be tracking them down and talking to them afterwards.

Go to their profile, they may have a messaging option. If not then you can comment on their answer. They won't necessarily know that you've made the comment though.

if they allow im or email you can do it directly or add the comment to your question or if best answer has already been picked you can leave a comment in the space provided.click on my name TLH with your mouse and go to my profile and you will see that i allow im and email and click on them and you can send me a message.i checked your profile and you do not allow im or emailing.

You can add details by clicking on the plus sign below your question. Either that or click on their name and see if they allow e-mails.

if you mean that you have asked a question and they have answered it and you want to add something else then under your question it will say add details. you can click that and add whatever you want or else you can im or email the person that you answered your question

You can "replay" if you want but i find it's much better to "reply"
